How Do I Present the Result of My Higher Order Formative SEM Model?

The results of the CFA for the first order dimensions should be presented in a dedicated CFA table. For the first order constructs’ relationship to the higher order construct, I prefer to put this information in a structural relationship table. I also like to include the actual wording of the identification items to give the reader more information. See the following example.

Note: Two identification items were included on the higher order construct of Unique Experience. Both items significantly loaded on the higher order construct with factor loadings greater than .70. The wording for those items were:

—If I had to sum up my experience, I felt my experience was distinctive (Unique1)

—If I had to sum up my experience, I felt my experience was special (Unique2)
